Condolence From: Rebecca Flagler-Hinds
Condolence: Dear Donna, Lynne & Family ~
What a fun & unique character was Bear! That man had a knack for doing anything he set his mind to from changing a diaper to masterfully styling the "RadCad" - !!! You will be missed Brother Bear !!! -
Rather than mourn your passage, I choose to celebrate your rich and fullsome life; I'm thankful for the memories..

Condolence: Bear would come by the shop to talk cars or see what we were working on. He was quite a character and always left a lasting impression. His stories made us laugh. Never knew his real name, we just called him Bear. Thoughts are with his family.

Condolence: Roger and I went to school together in Belle Plaine from 7th grade on. We worked on cars together, raced together and managed to live through it all. He was a talent musician and I loved to hear him play "Sweet Georgia Brown" on his sax as we warmed up for our high school basketball games. It made you feel like a "Globe Trotter". He will be missed.

Condolence: Roger and I lived two doors from one another when we were young.
I've never known any like him and don't expect that I ever will.
He left a lot of memories with anyone who knew him. Most of mine bring a smile. I'm glad that I knew him.

Condolence: We had a lot of fun on the motor scooters. Roger was always a little on the wild side which always made his stories over the years interesting. And he could play the sax!

Condolence: I will miss hearing your stories. I remember sitting on your lap watching Tom and Jerry as a little girl. It was the best! You were the best. The best grandpa I could have ever asked for! I love you grandpa! You will forever hold a place in my heart!
