Obituary for Catherine Olson

Catherine Olson, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and gg, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016. She was born November 23, 1930 to Frank and Elaine (Rhodes) Sandidge in Canton, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle Olson in 1996; and siblings, Frank Sandidge, Bob Sandidge, and Doris Sandidge. Catherine is survived by her children, Linda Little and Robert (Marita) McDaniel; grandchildren, Monica Smith, Anthony McDaniel, Sean McDaniel, Christopher McDaniel, and Melissa Goens; and great-grandchildren, Rayna, Milli, Autumn, and Breann. Visitation: 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beauties & Beasts Dog & Cat Rescue, 114 S. Pattie, Wichita, KS 67211.
