Condolences

Condolence From: Mary David Bonsal
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the entire family. I just happened to be sitting here this morning and Gerry & Aggie popped in to my head. I haven't seen them in a long time since I lived in the Tampa Bay Area. I decided to look them up. Shockingly, I didn't expect to see this! Aggie, my heart goes out to you all. You both touched so many people and were such great role models to many couples out there. I hope you and the family have found peace and continue to celebrate Gerry's life everyday. RIP Gerbear! God bless you all. Formally, (Mary Thomas)

Condolence From: Mike Mattox Zimmerman
Condolence: Still find it hard to believe. Gerry had so much about him. The good news about sister Barb and Versal passing on before him? They will be in heaven to welcome him. I have so many memories of Gerry and smile when I think of him alive and well. My wife also thought so highly of him. Our deepest sympathy to his son Brian, and his wonderful wife. She was such a trooper through it all. Like baseball he loved so much what Aggie and Gerry did each day was a team effort with so much spirit.

Condolence: i knew Gerry in his years of baseball and the carefree days of college. He had a great smile that was contagious and was always full of energy and humor. I was so sorry to hear of his battle with ALS and wish God's blessings and strength for his family. Gone too soon....

Condolence: I have considered Gerry one of my very best friends even though we may go for quite a while between catching up. I honestly don't think there was ever a time that I wouldn't think of him multiple times a week even if we hadn't seen each other recently or talked. We had a great time at SCCC as roomies. I'll never forget catching all those games for him. There will always be some great memories and I can promise he will never be forgotten!!!! My deepest condolences go out to all his family and friends as we were all blessed that we had a chance to have Gerry in part of our life. Gerry my buddy, we will always love you and may you rest in peace. We all know that you will soon be using that massive Burt Blyleven type breaking ball to throw some no hitters and perfect games up above!!!!

Condolence: Gerry Zimmerman: One on the best right handed pitchers and individuals that I have had the opportunity to coach. Jerry set the cornerstone and the bar for the Seward County CC Baseball Program. I am a better person and coach to have had the opportunity to cross his life's path. Thank you Jerry. Coach Galen McSpadden
