Obituary for Rusty Allen Inkelaar

Rusty Allen Inkelaar
Douglass - Inkelaar, Rusty Allen
20, passed away Sunday, June 11th, 2017. He was born November 21st, 1996 to Shawna Inkelaar and Steven Inkelaar in Wichita, Kansas.

Rusty lived big and loved harder. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. With a passion for life, laughter, and love he lit up not only every room that he entered, but the lives of everyone he crossed paths with. Rusty had a profound sense of determination and drive to succeed in everything he did from basketball and wrestling, his job at ACES Construction, to dropping what he was doing and working cattle or harvest. He was outgoing and always seeking out new adventures in his Mustang, dirtbike, or Dodge diesel. There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and live just a little bit better and Rusty was definitely one of them.

He is preceded in death by, Grandparents, Walter and June Inkelaar. Rusty is survived by Parents, Shawna Inkelaar, Steven Inkelaar, Brothers, Kutter (Hali) Inkelaar, Kaleb Selenke; Sister, Kylee (Kendal) Jester; Grandparents, Larry Newport, Barbara Newport; Nieces and Nephews, Riley, Keeley, Heidi, and Klayton.

A gathering will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary in Derby, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held June 16, 2017 at 10:00 am in Douglass, Kansas at the First Christian Church at 4th and Walnut.
