80, passed away Sunday, July 16th, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born February 13, 1937 to James and Ada West in Stafford, Kansas. She married Charles "Ray" Greene September 20, 1953, together they had three sons; Vern, Rick and John. Camping was a favorite hobby for the family, often taking trips to Fall River, Kansas. Mary was a great cook, loved to crochet, was good at sewing and embroidery, and loved to talk on the phone, visiting with friends and family. Often you could find her attending her kids and grandkids sporting and school activities. She was so proud of her family, especially her grandkids whom she took great joy in spoiling.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 19th, 2017, from 1:00 - 8:00 pm with family greeting friends from 6-8 at Smith Family Mortuary - Haysville 7031 South Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Thursday, July 20th, 2017 at Smith Family Mortuary - Haysville 7031 South Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060.

She was preceded in death by James West - Father; Ada (Vance) West - Mother; Betty, Glenn, Eddie, Jim, Norma Jean, Helen - Siblings. Mary is survived by Charles "Ray" Greene - Husband; Vern (Teri) Greene – Son; Rick (Diana) Greene - Son; John Greene - Son; Rebecca Greene, Rachel Greene, Nicole Greene, Charlie Greene, Jordan Greene, Taylor Greene – Grandchildren; Lucas - Great Grandchild. A special thank you to caregiver Jen Miller for the dedication and compassion shown to Mary during their time together.
