Winfield - Bentz, Cleora Dean
94, passed away Wednesday, July 26th, 2017. She was born May 18, 1923 to Walter and Anna Burden in Wellington, Kansas. She married Herb Bentz August 19, 1951. Cleora worked at Boeing for 15 years and then went back to school and became an educator, spending another (8) years teaching 2nd grade. She was very family oriented holding lasting relationships with her nieces and nephews. Cleora was an active member of her church, and enjoyed fellowship with her rug hooking group, The Happy Hookers for the better part of 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herb Bentz. Survived by sister, Ila (Burden) Ventsam
Preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Vera (Burden) Androes, Marion H. Burden, Mervin L. Burden, Viola (Burden) Johnson, Beulah Burden, Melba (Burden) Boyd; Many nieces and nephews and loved ones. Memorial Service: 10:00 am, Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037 followed by Inurnment in Belle Plaine Cemetery.
