Condolence From: Sandy King Dowling
Condolence: I'm sorry to hear of Uncle Winton's passing, yet rejoice for the victory over death that is his! He is one of my favorite uncles because I got to spend time with him in my growing up years, at Grandma Crown's home in Agra and at his home in Wichita when visiting my fun cousin Rene'. He was a great story teller, weaving wonderful tales on the fly. He used his great, expressive voice to enthrall children, make people laugh and record for the blind. He cared deeply for people and delivered meals to shut-ins for many years. I was impressed when he told me he enjoyed being administrator in one of the more needy schools in Wichita because the students were more reachable there. He carried within him a deep faith which poured out into his life. A life well lived and now a resting place with the Lord. Our prayers are with the family in this time of separation -- temporary tho it be. We would be with you physically tomorrow if we could. Our spirits and prayers are with you. Sandy and family
