Obituary for M. Wayne Schulze

M. Wayne Schulze, age 87, of Wichita, retired farmer, rancher and entrepreneur, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017. No visitation. A memorial service will be held at 10 am Thursday, October 12, First Christian Church of Douglass. Inurnment will follow at Douglass Cemetery. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ethel Schulze; his son, Jeff; grandson, Jordan; brothers, Lynn and Gene Schulze; and sisters, Donna Willson and Erma Roeder. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn “Susie” Schulze; sons, Stevan (Dawn), of Wichita, Tim (Donna), of Wichita, Mark (Betty), of Douglass; daughter, Sherry Currie, of Andover; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Schulze, of Wichita; grandchildren, Yvonne, Sara (Kyle), Kristen, Kelley (Cody), Joey (Jessica), Troy, Lyndsey (Jeremy); and 8 great-grandchildren.
