Derby - Rausch, Jada Marie Age 68, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. She was born to Edward and Odessa Schaller January 16, 1949 in Dodge City, KS. She attended St. Francis School of Nursing and Wichita State University, earning a BS in Nursing. Jada married Thomas Rausch on March 11, 1978. They had two children, Justin and Mitchell. Jada was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time outside, birdwatching, gardening, and growing flowers. Jada was accepted to the Master Gardener Program and loved to spend time admiring the flowers at Botanica. She served 40 years as a nurse and in the process helped countless people.

Rosary Service 9:30 a.m. followed by Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church 2300 E. Meadowlark Derby, KS 67037 with inurnment to follow at Ascension Cemetery 7200 E. 45th St N, Bel Aire, KS 67226.

Jada is preceded in death by parents, Edward and Odessa Schaller. Jada is survived by her husband Thomas Rausch; sons Mitchell (Jennifer) Rausch and Justin Rausch (fiancé Susan Kee); brothers Greg Schaller and Larry Schaller; sisters Madonna Reed, Cynthia Schaller Deffenbaugh, Paula Zoller, and Julie Paul.
