Clearwater - Lacey, Claudia Ruth
age 62, passed away Saturday, January 6th, 2018. She was born in California, but in a military family moved around a lot. Eventually she moved to Kansas and called it home. Claudia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very social and loved good conversation. Claudia loved the outdoors, swimming, spending time with her family, and was an animal lover of all breeds of life. Claudia took time to grow in her relationship with Christ, she had a thirst for knowledge, found in her Bible.
Visitation 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at Smith Mortuary, Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060; Funeral Service 1:00 pm Friday, January 12th, 2018 at Prairie Trail Cowboy Church 8552 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Pelkey; sister, Tammy Pelkey; brother, Randy Pelkey; grandson, Steve Blocher.
Claudia is survived by her father, Claude Pelkey; spouse, Kent Struble; daughters,Christina (Darrell) Blocher, Michelle Lacey, April (Shawn) Russ; grandchildren, Barry Blocher, Breonia (Jordan) Scott, Austin Pelkey, Troy Blocher, Christian Russ, Cheyenne Sheary, Shelby Russ, Dixie Sheary, Carol Sheary; great grandchildren, Leon Pelkey, Summer Pelkey; sister, Claudette Corbin.
