Suzan Barbara Williams, 70, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was born January 10, 1948 to Ray and Betty (Lindquist) Williams in Chicago, IL. Sue was a loving mother and passionate gal who loved to laugh, loved her dog, Midnight, loved cruising in the Caribbean, and loved to play the slots. And one of her greatest joys the last few years has been acting as a part-time nanny to Trey, the son of her good friend Monty. She attended Bethany College in Linsdborg along with her sister, Lynn. Upon graduation she taught special-needs kids, and then started up her own resume business, which she ran up until retirement. She later obtained her Masters Degree at Kansas State University. Sue was very involved in the League of Women Voters, and was recognized as an honored professional in the National Register's Who's Who. She was preceded in death by her parents. Suzan is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Craig) Bybee of Colorado; siblings, Bob Williams of Colorado and Lynn Blomberg of Missouri; nieces and nephews, Teague Williams, Connor Williams, Griffin Williams, Stephanie Keelins, Laura Canon, and Philip Blomberg. Visitation: Monday, January 22, 2018, from 1 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Service: 3:30 pm, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037.
