Condolence: Lisa and Alex just know how much we love you and when you are ready to talk we are here for you. Ryan...you were the most loving child and we enjoyed you so much. The memories we have are great and we had so much fun with just little simple things and just spending time together. Our hearts are broken but, know we will see you again.

Condolence: I was very saddened and heart broken by this news. I had or still have so many questions but it doesn't change the fact that Ryan is no longer with us. I wish I could be there in person to pay my respects and spend time with Lisa and talk about all the times that we can smile and laugh about. I've gone through so many of my pictures and that is all I've done is think of all the good times. I love and miss you all and hope to see you soon.

Condolence: Ryan lives in my memory as a smooth-faced teenager with a sunny disposition who frequently had Chase with him whenever we saw him out front and on the road. He was my favorite of Shawn's friends since he was the most open among them to my dorky interests, like learning how to play Magic: The Gathering (a fantasy card game). He was fun to tease and easy to amuse. I don't remember what it was, but a friend of mine who was over a lot used to deliberately call him by another name (something common and unremarkable like "Bob" I think) and it was always funny to see Ryan laugh and try to correct him.

It was always great and often amusing to observe his relationship with Alex and the many parallels between that and the relationship between Shawn and Ethan, sibling rivalry and all.

The last time I saw Ryan must have been at a graduation or birthday at my parents' place and I just remember being shocked that he had developed this deep man voice but was still a short boyish fella. I said as much to him and we had a laugh.

I remember a positive young man with bright smiles, happy eyes, and laughs that came easily. He was basically family for a while there and I'm very sorry and saddened for his loss.
