Hayes  Crenshaw
Belle Plaine-Crenshaw, Hayes, age 75, took his place in heaven on February 5, 2018. Born in Bruce, Mississippi on June 13th 1942 to Clarence and Carrie Crenshaw. Hayes married Brenda Joyce Walker on June 29, 1962 and she was the love of his life for 56 years. After retiring from Kansas Trade Exchange, he became a Deacon in the First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Kansas Bassmasters, B.A.S.S. Qualifier and won 2 boats with lifelong friend Gary Best. He is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Sonny, Bubba and Billy; sister, Lou. Hayes is survived by his wife Brenda Crenshaw; daughters, Kimberly (Scott) Herman, Charissa McCalmant; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Rose and Mavis. Visitation Friday, February 9, 2018 from 1-8 pm with family greeting friends 6-8 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, Derby. Funeral service Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 am also at Smith Family Mortuary, Derby.
