Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with family greeting friends from 6-8 pm, on Monday, August 6th, 2018 at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral Service will be held at Rose Hill United Methodist Church 19551 SW Butler Rd Rose Hill, Kansas 67133 on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 at 2:00 pm. She is preceded in death by parents, Glen and Helen Carr; husband, Emerson Freeman; brothers, Glen Carr Jr., Bobby Carr; son in law, Ronnie Sumners. Nelda is survived by daughters, Debbie Thomas (Tim); Pam Sumners; son, Allen Freeman (Sherry); grandchildren, Sonny Begert (Josh), Dusti Shogrin (Shane), Nathan Sumners, Seth Sumners, Jacob Sumners, Robyn Sumners (Chad), Esau Freeman (Kamielle), Mischka Johnson, Derek Johnson (Kim), Tempest Johnson; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
