Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas H. Schaper, Sr.; son, Craig V. Schaper; mother, Nelle (Russell) Jennings; and father, V. A. Dobyns. She is survived by sons, Doug (Sandi) of Loxahatchee, FL, Rusty of Derby, KS, and Mark (Jennifer) of Murfreesboro, TN; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
