Delmer Wayne Shenold
Delmer W. Shenold, age 82, Unirex Inc. retiree., passed away Sept 30, 2017. Delmer is survived by his children, Kirk (Penny) Shenold, of Douglass, Kathy (Curtis) Mertens, of Wichita; grandchildren, Ajay, Cole, & Leah Shenold, Lisa Mickey, Rebekah Mertens; devoted friend, Charlene Mills, of Douglass; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; parents, Charles and Mary; brothers, Harold, Marvin, Jack Shenold; sisters, Mildred Oberg, Claudia Tyscka. Visitation 1-8pm, family greeting 6-8pm Wednesday, at Smith Mortuary – Derby, 1415 N. Rock Road; Funeral 10AM, Thursday, Oct. 5th, at First Christian Church, 303 E. 4th in Douglass, KS. Memorials to the Hospice Care at The Robert J. Dole V.A Medical Center, 5500 E. Kellogg Wichita, KS 67218 and The Douglass Senior Center, 124 W. 4th Douglass, KS 67039.
