Stephen Kent Olmsted
Stephen Kent Olmsted, age 61, of Derby, Rose Hill USD 394 employee, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Visitation 1-8 Friday, February 23, with family receiving friends 5 - 7 pm, Smith Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby. Graveside service 11 am Saturday, February 24, Belle Plaine Cemetery. Stephen is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Martin; mother, Barbara Timmer; and sister, Mona Kay Olmsted. Survivors include his father, Ramon Olmsted, of Derby; step-father, Charlie Timmer, of Hoskins, NE; brother, Todd Olmsted (Julie), of Derby; sisters, Marsha Olmsted, of Wichita, Pam Olmsted, of Derby, Robin Patterson, of Wichita; stepdaughters, Michele Shephard - Bushey (Danny), of Towanda, and Marcy Shephard, of Benton; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
