Freddie "Steve" Crouse
Freddie "Steve" Crouse, 69, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born September 4, 1948 to Freddie Earl and Cherry Elizabeth (Thompson) Crouse in Tulsa, OK. Steve worked at Printing Inc. for 20 years. He loved working on old cars, enjoyed garage sales, and attempted camping. Steve was a man of God and loved the Lord so much. He was a witness to many people and served as a Deacon on the board at First Assembly of God of Haysville. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Mickey Hollis. Steve is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan; mother; children, Rebecca (Sheridan) Brown of Peabody, KS and Marie (Chip) Finney of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Brooke (Mark) Maurer, Michael VanArsdale, Ronnie Perrymore, and Mykala VanArsdale; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Aubree, and Kaden Maurer; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Visitation: Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 3 to 8 pm. Funeral Service: 10 am, Wednesday, May 30, 2018; both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Parker Cemetery in Arkansas City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Midwest Transplant Network, 1900 W. 47th Place, S-400, Westwood, KS 66205.
